002 ☆ The Boyz Initial Reactions & Now

I first got into The Boyz right after their debut, and I remember really feeling blessed by how much variety content they had (Flower Snack and other shows). Also their music is just so good and catchy right from the start, I listened to Text Me Back so many times over the past 3 years even when I wasn't really paying attention to them as a group. 

I think I originally selected my bias as Q because he's just so precious, truly precious. But also I default to supporting Moonbaes and especially Jacob because he's my hometown boy. And Eric just stands out for being pure and energetic it's impossible to not love him. 

I had been wanting to get back into TBZ for a while, and listening to the English line boys on Eric Nam's podcast really drew me back in. Plus, Eric loves Mark and Mark apparently buys him clothes and stuff so I have to protect Eric at all costs. Since I kind of needed a break from my current fandom and a distraction it was prime time to pour myself into consuming TBZ content again. 

To be honest I don't remember taking in Hyunjae at all when I first started getting into TBZ content. Like, no memories of him register. I'm not even sure about what's really sold me on him at this moment, but he does have very strong chaotic demon energy. And he knows it too. Now, I'm actually going back and rewatching the shows I first watched to try and see if it sparks any memories.

It hasn't actually shifted too much, I still have really strong affections for English Line and even if people went down it's not because I like them less just that I started to get to know and notice other members more, but I find them all really cute in their own ways. I'm pretty sad that Hwall had to leave due to his injury, but I watched Color Rush (I'll talk about that another time) and overall I'm just happy to see that he's doing well and hasn't disappeared from our eyes completely. So, I'll continue to support him on the side.
